How It Works

Your sleep is automatically tracked each night using a very simple, but effective algorithm. It works by looking for extended periods of time where your phone is inactive. The rationale is that if you are asleep, you won't touch your phone. Sometimes you will see the time is off by 30 minutes here or there. In those cases, simply edit your sleep time in the detailed sleep view. 

Sleep duration influences:

  • hormone release
  • gene expression
  • organ function
  • metabolism
  • brain health
